Make sure you get your Electronic Ticket
WHAT IS AN ELECTRONIC TICKET ?
It is a digital form required by multiple institutions for entering or leaving the national territory.
You only need one per family. You will be asked to show the completed form when you arrive in Punta Cana. If you have any questions call Daisy or Robert.
Cell Phone Service - Roaming Charge$
Check with your cell phone service provider before you get to the D.R.. Data plans normally don't include the D.R. and may incur additional charges per day. I know Verizon charges me $10 per day, per phone. Disable your data plan on your phone and your kids' phone including roaming before you land. You can still use your phone via WhatsApp in the DR for messaging and phone calls but it will rely on the resorts free WIFI. Check with your service provider.
Airport
Make sure you have your passport with you at all times. Try to arrive 3 hours before flight departure.
Taxi to and from Hotel
It's a good idea to book a taxi to and from hotel online before you arrive. It's approximately a 20 minute drive from the airport to the hotel. I have a great Taxi Service at a better price than the hotel is offering. If you're interested, please contact Robert for more information.
Hotel Confirmation Number
It's a good idea to have your hotel confirmation number handy just in case.
Dinner options
Formal dress code is required at some of the restaurants for dinner only. Men may not wear shorts, sandals, or shirts without sleeves to some of the restaurants for dinner. Reservations are necessary for some of the restaurants. It is best to make your reservation as soon as you're done checking in.

Sun block
I highly recommend bringing sun block. You're going to need it. The hotel has stores that sell sun block at a premium price.
Mosquito Repellant
The hotel does a good job of managing the mosquitos but if you're prone to get bit, bring some mosquito repellant.
Drink Cooler
I highly recommend a beverage cooler of some sort. An insulated drinking container for mixed drinks or beer works. It's hot in Punta Cana but your drink should always be cold. 😎
